Minaberry and Robbie Richmond founded Keystone Homes with the vision
to make a difference. To make a difference in our communities, to
make a difference in the construction/home building industry and to
make a difference in our customer’s everyday life in a Keystone
Home. In the spring of 2007, with over 20 years combined
construction experience, we started Keystone Homes to fulfill our
vision.
We have been friends since high school. Though we embarked on
separate career paths, we coincidentally ended up with parallel
careers in management divisions of construction companies in the
Volusia/Flagler area. We often met to discuss the construction
industry and after countless conversations and comparisons of
policies, standards and procedures it became clear to us that we
wanted to be builders that raised industry standards. With that in
mind, we founded Keystone Homes to build a better product, build for
the future and build with our client’s value and respect in the
forefront.
Both of us are not only state licensed contractors, but are also
nationally certified
Green Building
Professionals. We have families
of our own, and understand and believe that everyone should be given
the opportunity to live in an affordable, energy efficient home –
and the savings should be a standard feature – not an option. All of
our homes are built to higher standards than the Florida Building
code requirements. Our Keystone Homes have many standard features
that other companies consider upgrade options. Our homes are built
to conserve energy, water, and reduce maintenance costs and most
importantly reduce home utility expenses.
We believe that a quality home starts with the design and finishes
with the attention to the smallest detail. Keystone Homes
understands that the home we are building for YOU is the most
important home. For that reason, every home we build is supervised
by a state licensed contractor, not unlicensed “managers”. We will
not allow anyone to participate in the management of your homes
construction that has not proven the utmost level of dedication and
commitment to their profession.
Finally, we at Keystone Homes believe that choosing and building a
new home should be an enjoyable and exciting experience. Keystone
Homes has a draftsman, architect, interior designer, landscape
architect, and quality tradesman on our team to be your resources
for a competent build. Each professional will be there for
consultation through every step of the process, from design to color
selection. At Keystone Homes we believe in our homes and we know you
will see the difference in quality and value. We believe our home
buying and building process is different, we strive everyday to make
our process the best. We believe in building an energy efficient
